Appreciation of Life and Resilience Building

Blossoms in March — A Flourishing CUHK Campus

Blossoms in March features a “Music Concert” and a series of small-group activities designed to encourage students to slow down, and connect with nature to regain inner peace during this flourishing season. Students can cherish the present and establish holistic well-being through music, mindful exercise and nature walks. These experiences will deepen their connection to the campus and community, as well as supporting their personal growth and improve self-awareness.

Life and Death Education Programme

Life and Death Education (LDE) Programme is an educational programme designed with the theme of “Understanding Life from Death, Appreciation of the Beauty of Life” as its core concept, aiming to guide students to think about the value and meaning of life. Through death education activities, such as the “Before I Die” experience, students will reflect on their life goals and priorities, and learn to cherish the present moment. This is not only about facing death, but also about helping students acquire the knowledge and skills needed to cope with challenges at different stages of life, and cultivate mental resilience and positive attitudes. Through discussion, interaction, and creative expression, students can gain a deeper understanding of the fragility and beauty of life, thereby establishing a positive attitude towards life and learning to face the future with gratitude and love.
