About The Event
CUHK Bridge to China volunteering team has established a close partnership with the Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation to initiate rural revitalisation programs in mainland China and Hong Kong. The team strives to enhance the livelihood of underprivileged villagers whilst facilitating personal growth through dedicating themselves to voluntary experiences. Previous initiatives included constructing bridges, providing public health education, cultural preservation and advocating sustainable development.
During the service stage, students could participate in local cultural preservation programme, planning for a service tour to mainland China, promotion events on campus.

3. 2025 Team Formulation: January 2025
4. Service Stage (including a service tour): January 2025 - October 2025

Target participants & requirements:
1. All full-time CUHK students
2. Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, as well as literate in Chinese
3. Interested in cultural preservation, village revitalization and sustainable development
4. Responsible, passionate to serve, and caring about the society
Quota:
10 (selected by interview)
Fee:
Free for local events, and for the service tour will depend on the subsid(ies) available.
Allowance & Certificate:
Certificates will be issued upon completion of the project and service tour.
