CUHK Bridge To China (WZQ) Team year 2024-2025 core team members recruitment

 

The CUHK Bridge to China (WZQ) Team is a university volunteer team affiliated with the Wu Zhi Qiao Charitable Foundation. Since its establishment in 2009, the Team has coordinated and participated in rural site investigation trips, infrastructure building projects, and community enrichment programmes both locally and in Mainland China in addition to hosting educative workshops and raising awareness within the student community, all of which were well-received and hugely supported by CUHK students. With a new sustainability initiative focus, recent projects also incorporate themes of cultural heritage preservation and restoration. We would love for you to join us! Details are as follows:

 

Membership term: Jan 2025 - Nov 2025

 

Target and Requirements

1. All full-time CUHK students (except final-year students)

2. Fluent in Cantonese, able to speak Mandarin and literate in Chinese

3. Interested in village preservation and revitalisation

4. Responsible, passionate to serve, and caring about the society

 

Quota

10 (selected by interview)

 

Fee

Free for local events and the service tour will depend on the subsid(ies) available.
