Apart from pursuing academic excellence, our students have been making achievements and contributions to the non-academic aspects. a. Arts

b. Innovation and Invention

c. Social Service

i) Serving the CUHK community

ii) Serving the society

d. Sports

e. Special Achievement

Why Apply?

The CUHK Outstanding Students Awards aim to celebrate exemplary individuals like you—those who serve as role models and inspire peers to embrace challenges and persevere through adversity. By sharing your stories and personal journeys, this initiative encourages others to stay committed to their goals across diverse fields.

1.      Certificate of Achievement

Each awardee will receive a prestigious certificate formally recognising their outstanding contributions in non-academic areas. This celebrates your passion, hard work, and dedication.

2.      Grand Ceremony

The awards will be presented at a grand ceremony that honours your achievements in early 2026. The event features inspiring speeches and presentations that highlight your remarkable journey and contributions to the community.

4.      Role Models of CUHK

As an awardee, you become a role model for your peers, representing CUHK at various local, regional, and international competitions and events. Your achievements reflect the university’s values of excellence and leadership.

5.      Representation Opportunities

You may be invited to represent CUHK at events locally, regionally, or overseas. By showcasing your accomplishments, you help enhance the university’s reputation and build meaningful connections with the broader community.

Full-time students studying at CUHK who have made remarkable achievements and significant contributions in the past academic year (AY 2024-25) are eligible to apply. You are cordially invited to apply for the Award through self-nomination and submit your application via the online form. The deadline for self-nomination is 7 July 2025, noon. Your self-nominations will be channelled to the respective Units for review. For undergraduate students, self-nominations will be shared with their respective Colleges, while self-nominations of postgraduate students will be shared with their Faculties. Colleges and Faculties may reach out to the self-nominators to collect supporting documents if needed.
